It's Sat again.. The week passes by so fast especially when my boss' out of town.. Lol.. Headed over to church today.. Feel so good cos we've missed 2 (or was it 3) weeks of church services so it feels really good today.. Eunice was the worship leader today.. I've always love her voice and the way she sings, praising God makes me feels so "wow".. God and the angels must have loved the sound of her voice praising rising up to heaven!.. And at the back of my mind.. I was thinking.. When Baby Faye is big enough, I'll send her for voice coaching and learn to play musical instruments.. Things I've never had the chance to do but would love and know will enjoy doing.. Her voice will also be an instrument of praise to the Heavenly Father.. Shared with hubby this little though and he says, ok sure, why not.. =)
We headed over to PS Cafe @ Palais Renaissance for dinner.. It's the last 4 days for us to use the DBS Rewards Voucher and we have to do this before we miss the dateline!.. Was trying hard to get reservations confirmed at Palais Renaissance before heading over to church and only received the bad news that they're full during service.. We hurriedly sent a sms to the Paragon branch but received no reply. Darn! Die die must use, we walked into Palais Renaissance at 6:15pm and got an al fresco table but on condition that we've to finish by 7:30pm as they're reserved for that timing. No prob! Placed our orders and the food was served, rather fast.
Truffles Shoestring Fries - Portion's big! But like what other bloggers wrote, taste like normal fries leh. Good thing is it's crispy and hot when served. Still yummy I guess. 3.5/5
Steak Sandwich - Hubby didnt really enjoy it. It's not too flavorful and a little too thick which makes it hard to cut. Hubby gave up trying to cut and used his hands instead. Taste better you know. The salad's got a tangy taste which opens up the tastebud. 3/5
King Prawn Aglio Olio - Tastes really good initially. Unique taste I'd say. But as it's near the end, it gets a little "jerlak". Very oily and salty at the end, and it kinds of taste a little like "cai boh". 3.5/5
Went for a walk at Tangs after dinner. Looks really good after the reno. The food outlet's better now too. We're attracted to the Sausage booth! Looks really good. Gonna try it one of these days!
